The core technology of the foundation is the INVERTit platform

A Revolutionary Shift in Data-Centric Architecture

Platform Constructs

The INVERTit platform is based on the convergence of three essential constructs that underpin the business and technology strategies for driving an open data-centric ecosystem in the market;

  1. Open Business Framework
  2. Open Data Platform
  3. Open Service Platform

Enabling a Revolution

Given the current social, economic and political conditions within the market, these design constructs will enable a revolution (or as we call it an “inversion”) in how IT systems are designed, architected, and built in the “intelligence age.”

Summary of the INVERTit platform

A hexagonal platform architecture for building data-centric applications…

  • A platform for designing and building a new breed or data-centric digital applications
  • Designed as an Open Data-Centric architecture
  • Architected based on the “Hexagonal Design Pattern”
  • The first platform to address the fundamental issues of security, data ownership, data usage, governance and compliance, and other key solutions, from the ground-up

…by leveraging a set of interconnecting leading-edge concepts

  • The platform is composed of a a number of core concepts (each with its own and unique IP)
  • Each concept is powered by a set of core interconnecting modules
  • All modules utilize in a security framework (and associated modules) that leverages leading-edge design concepts to ensure the highest levels of security for its users and their data
  • Each module is designed to be light-weight, extensible and interchangeable to address the ever-changing IT landscape
  • Design concepts are not available (or documented in the public domain) in any other solution on the market

…implemented as a set of interconnecting modules

  • The platform is powered by a common core with a set of interconnecting modules providing separate capabilities
  • Each module is designed to be light-weight, and interchangeable
  • Modules are designed to be extendable
  • Modules and extensions modules follow strict usage rules. Modules can be dynamically injected at run-time using a module plugin
  • Modules are implemented on a standard security architecture

What is the INVERTit platform?

The power of INVERTit begins with the Open & Extendible Data Architecture…

The Open & Extendible Data Architecture is the cornerstone of the platform and provides the core capabilities of;

  • Modeling and implementation of data using a new Graph architecture design (called Graph Overlays)
  • Data is designed from the ground up to be open and extendible
  • Support for ontology mappings
  • Support for semantic web mappings (e.g. RDF, OWL)
  • Encryption and Obfuscation at rest and in-flight
  • Supports compliance regulations like PII and GDPR

…that is enhanced with the Open & Extendible Service Architecture…

The Open & Extendible Service Architecture is another cornerstone of the platform and provides the core capabilities of;

  • Services is designed from the ground up to be open and extendable
  • Services use public and private contracts to interconnect
  • Data requirements and capability requirement changes can be added into predefined services so that the services may be reused like building blocks in the construction of many different applications that have similar or varying degrees of similarity.  The services are part of a marketplace.

…and uses Open & Extendible Storage…

The Open & Extendible Storage provides the core capabilities of;

  • Polyglot storage options (RDBMS, Document, Graph)
  • Multiple instances of storage kept in sync
  • Locational storage within and outside the application boundary
  • Decoupling of configuration and instance data storage
  • Segmentation of data into different geofenced locations
  • Data splintering to the object property level
  • Hierarchical tenants where one or more users can be associated to a Tenant

All interactions are controlled by Contract Base Access…

The Contract-Base Access provides the core capabilities of;

  • Authorization and Authentication via policies
  • End-to-End Auditing
  • Service design patterns that are robust, fault tolerant and highly scalable using a number ofmessage exchange patterns
  • Highly scalable event-based messaging using interchangeable messaging platforms
  • Private and public messaging within and between applications
  • Data streaming and connection to IOT devices

...that have any number of associated Contexts...

The Context-Base Access provides the core capabilities of;

  • Provides a container for dynamically injecting run-time control information called Contexts
  • Any number of contexts can be created and attached to the container e.g. user, language, action, currency, role, security
  • Contexts are used to control and change behavior dynamically at run-time

...that makes all data securely available in real-time for AI and ML

The Real-time Open AI/ML provides the core capabilities of;

  • Neural Mesh architecture for deep learning
  • Real-time Digital Twins
  • Embedded Natural Language Processing
  • Semantic Web Capable

Building solutions on the INVERTit Platform

Plan for data-centric open ecosystems…

Platform Core (PC)

Provides the base capabilities to support a data-centric architecture.  Capabilities are implemented as configurable modules.  Each module provides appropriate extension points and SDK.  The platform core modules are opened sourced, while module extensions can be open-sourced or sold in a community market-place. The open-source modules are controlled but community feedback is incorporated into each modules roadmap

Application Modules (AM) and Application Packages (AP)

The platform core is extended with reusable technical and business application modules which can be reused to build application packages.  Application modules and application packages can be open sourced or sold in a community market-place

Application Layer (AL)

Applications are built leveraging relevant capabilities from the platform core and functional layer.  Developed applications can be open sourced or sold in a community market-place

Ecosystem Layer (EL)

Applications are built to integrate and interoperate within a broader ecosystem built on the data-centric principles that ensure users maintain full control over their information

Domain Layer (DL)

Ecosystems, applications, application packages, application modules can be grouped into or shared by multiple business domains

…where applications are built for potential reuse
