The Open & Extendible Data Architecture is the cornerstone of the platform and provides the core capabilities of;

  • Modeling and implementation of data using a new Graph architecture design (called Graph Overlays)
  • Data is designed from the ground up to be open and extendible
  • Support for ontology mappings 
  • Support for semantic web mappings (e.g. RDF, OWL)
  • Encryption and Obfuscation at rest and in-flight
  • Supports compliance regulations like PII and GDPR

The Open & Extendible Service Architecture is another cornerstone of the platform and provides the core capabilities of;

  • Services is designed from the ground up to be open and extendable
  • Services use public and private contracts to interconnect
  • Data requirements and capability requirement changes can be added into predefined services so that the services may be reused like building blocks in the construction of many different applications that have similar or varying degrees of similarity.  The services are part of a marketplace.

The Open & Extendible Storage provides the core capabilities of;

  • Polyglot storage options (RDBMS, Document, Graph)
  • Multiple instances of storage kept in sync
  • Locational storage within and outside the application boundary

  • Data splintering to the object property level
  • Hierarchical tenants where one or more users can be associated to a Tenant

  • Any number of contexts can be created and attached to the container e.g. user, language, action, currency, role, security

Plan for data-centric open ecosystems…

Platform Core (PC)

Provides the base capabilities to support a data-centric architecture.  Capabilities are implemented as configurable modules.  Each module provides appropriate extension points and SDK.  The platform core modules are opened sourced, while module extensions can be open-sourced or sold in a community market-place. The open-source modules are controlled but community feedback is incorporated into each modules roadmap


Application Modules (AM) and Application Packages (AP)

The platform core is extended with reusable technical and business application modules which can be reused to build application packages.  Application modules and application packages can be open sourced or sold in a community market-place


Application Layer (AL)

Applications are built leveraging relevant capabilities from the platform core and functional layer.  Developed applications can be open sourced or sold in a community market-place


Ecosystem Layer (EL)

Applications are built to integrate and interoperate within a broader ecosystem built on the data-centric principles that ensure users maintain full control over their information


Domain Layer (DL)

Ecosystems, applications, application packages, application modules can be grouped into or shared by multiple business domains
